EHS Engineer

What you will do

• Ensure full compliance with the Korean Occupational Safety and Health Act (KOSHA) and global corporate EHS standards.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident investigations with corrective action tracking.
• Manage mandatory EHS training programs and foster a proactive safety culture across the site.
• Oversee safety activities for contractors and manage high-risk work permits.
• Act as the primary liaison with government authorities during official audits and inspections.
• Manage environmental compliance, focusing on hazardous materials and waste disposal processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Eligible to be appointed as a Safety Manager under the Korean Occupational Safety and Health Act.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in EHS or safety-related roles.
• Fluent in both Korean and English.
• Strong working knowledge of Korean EHS regulations.

Nice to have

• Certified Industrial Safety Consultant or Industrial Safety Engineer certifications.
• Experience implementing or managing ISO 45001 standards.
• Valid firefighting and first aid certifications.
• Previous experience working within a multinational corporate environment.
