What you will do
- Generate new sales and manage the full sales cycle for workflow solutions.
- Engage and influence key stakeholders including R&D management, Core facility managers, and VPs of Research.
- Collaborate with product managers, marketing experts, and local sales teams.
- Demonstrate product value tailored to specific customer needs and overcome objections.
- Navigate complex decision-making processes within academic and corporate environments.
- Compete successfully against alternative purchase options.
Requirements
- 3+ years of solution selling experience in software or research databases.
- Proven ability to sell to academic or corporate customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Trained in a formal solution selling methodology.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong time management and result-driven focus.
- Must be based in or able to work from the New York office (Hybrid).
