What you will do

  • Generate new sales and manage the full sales cycle for workflow solutions.
  • Engage and influence key stakeholders including R&D management, Core facility managers, and VPs of Research.
  • Collaborate with product managers, marketing experts, and local sales teams.
  • Demonstrate product value tailored to specific customer needs and overcome objections.
  • Navigate complex decision-making processes within academic and corporate environments.
  • Compete successfully against alternative purchase options.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of solution selling experience in software or research databases.
  • Proven ability to sell to academic or corporate customers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Trained in a formal solution selling methodology.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong time management and result-driven focus.
  • Must be based in or able to work from the New York office (Hybrid).

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in a natural science field.
