Service Representative - Life and Retirement

Location: Fully remote within the United States, except New York, California, Colorado, Washington, New Jersey, Maryland, Alaska, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Mexico, Oregon, and Rhode Island. Must be able to work shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. CST Monday through Friday, with required Saturday hours from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. CST.

Pay: $16.20–$25.43 per hour, depending on experience and location.

What you will do

• Build knowledge of life and retirement insurance products, services, and policies.
• Handle customer inquiries and solve problems through phone, email, and live chat.
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience through written and verbal communication.
• Maintain quality and compliance with applicable company and state rules and regulations.
• Identify customer needs and proactively up-sell and cross-sell insurance solutions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Two or more years of customer service, business, or sales experience preferred.
• Basic math and billing interpretation skills.
• Strong communication, active listening, research, problem-solving, organization, and time management skills.
• Internet connection with at least 10 Mb/s download and 1 Mb/s upload speeds, subject to verification.
• Private, organized workspace without daily household distractions.
• Successfully complete the Service Representative Trainee Program and obtain and maintain a Life license and/or 6/63 license within 12 months of hire.
