Salary: $177,000 – $256,500 per year

What you will do
- Drive the technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for the Identity Services team to align with overall engineering goals.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of engineers, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the delivery of high-volume, low-latency identity resolution capabilities, ensuring operational quality.
- Partner with Product Management as the primary technical liaison to define strategic roadmaps and ensure feasibility.
- Devote approximately 50% of time to individual contributor tasks, focusing on complex technical challenges and code reviews.
- Influence cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and ensure timely delivery of shared dependencies.
Requirements
- 9+ years of hands-on development experience, primarily with Java or other JVM-based languages.
- 3+ years of experience in leadership roles as a technical lead delivering complex products.
- Proven track record of driving high-quality API designs and architecture improvements across multiple services.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to talent identification at the Staff level and above.
- Strong communication skills for regular and concise information sharing.
- Must be based in San Francisco.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of the adTech domain and common industry identifiers.
- Experience with GCP services, including DataProc, Dataflow, and GKE.
- Experience working with Temporal.
