Focus on standardizing lab operations, architecting network segmentation, driving DevSecOps and AI adoption, and ensuring resilient engineering systems across data centers and cloud.
Location: Santa Clara, California, United States
Expected base pay: $190,280–$285,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and equity plans.

What you will do
- Define and deliver a multi-year roadmap for global engineering applications and laboratory environments.
- Establish a Labs as a Service model with centralized provisioning, standardized services, and dedicated IT support.
- Build an integrated development platform connecting engineering applications, toolchains, workflows, and lab environments.
- Modernize engineering applications and toolchains, including Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD.
- Drive DevSecOps, role-based access, secure remote access, regulatory compliance, observability, and incident-response readiness.
- Partner with Engineering, IT, Security, and Facilities to improve standardization, scalability, reliability, and developer productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in IT or technology leadership, including 5+ years in engineering applications or lab operations.
- Experience leading large-scale standardization or transformation across global teams.
- Strong program management, stakeholder alignment, and communication skills.
- Ability to meet applicable U.S. export-control eligibility requirements for access to controlled technology and software.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with semiconductor workflows and tools, including EDA, verification, and silicon validation.
- Understanding of validation, bring-up, debug, test, and failure-analysis lab functions.
- Experience with remote engineering workflows or lab automation.
- PMP, ITIL, or Six Sigma certification.
