What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers and technical professionals.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across Java/Spring services, Angular front-ends, and SQL databases.
• Own application-level design decisions to ensure scalability, maintainability, and security.
• Guide modernization initiatives, refactoring legacy systems into modular or service-oriented architectures.
• Partner with product owners and business leaders to translate requirements into technical delivery plans.
• Promote engineering best practices including code quality, testing, and technical standards.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a technical leadership or management role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java/Spring enterprise applications and modern front-end frameworks like Angular.
• Proven ability to lead development teams and guide architectural decisions in regulated environments.
• Working knowledge of Azure and CI/CD concepts.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
