Location: Must be a resident of WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, SC, VA, CA, or NC. If located in Washington state within driving distance of Tukwila, hybrid attendance at HQ is required on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.

Salary: $171,700–$209,800 annually.

What you will do

• Lead the technical direction and expansion of new AI products.
• Design and develop scalable, cloud-agnostic systems using Python, AWS, and LLMs.
• Strengthen AI infrastructure, including retrieval architectures and data segmentation.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure solution effectiveness.
• Drive agile delivery through daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
• Mentor senior engineers and champion engineering best practices like code reviews and CI/CD.

Requirements

• Must be a resident of WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, SC, VA, CA, or NC.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum eight years of experience in software development and production code.
• Expertise in two or more of: Python, .NET, C#, node.js, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, OOP, and distributed systems.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Computer Science.
• Experience with agent-based systems and user interaction models.
• Background in startup or highly autonomous agile environments.
• Experience presenting at industry conferences.
