TL;DR

Finance & Strategy Manager (Fintech): Managing financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for core brokerage products with an accent on connecting operational decisions to financial outcomes. Focus on building scalable financial models, delivering actionable insights to leadership, and optimizing P&L performance across equities, options, and cash products.

Location: Must be based in Menlo Park, CA; Chicago, IL; or New York, NY with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

Salary: $106,000 - $160,000 USD (based on location zone).

What you will do

  • Analyze financial results, identify business drivers, and communicate risks and opportunities to senior leadership.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting materials.
  • Build and maintain scalable financial models to support product investments and growth initiatives.
  • Improve financial reporting processes and data quality to enhance decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Proven experience building financial models and forecasts in complex business environments.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet tools (Excel, Google Sheets) and presentation software.
  • Familiarity with analytical systems such as SQL, Looker, and Anaplan.
  • Experience supporting consumer technology or financial services businesses.
