PMO Analyst (Governance and Controls)

PMO Analyst (Governance and Controls): Supporting governance, reporting, and delivery oversight across the UK change portfolio with an accent on data accuracy, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to York, UK (Hybrid: 2-3 days in office per week).

What you will do

• Own and maintain governance collateral, including Terms of Reference and meeting outputs.
• Manage the Lessons Learned process to embed improvements into portfolio frameworks.
• Monitor and report on portfolio health, including risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Create and distribute Management Information using Power BI and Power Automate.
• Ensure data accuracy across portfolio management tools and master data sources.
• Engage proactively with project and delivery leads to ensure reporting deadlines and quality standards are met.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a PMO Analyst within a complex change portfolio in insurance or financial services.
• Strong understanding of project and change delivery lifecycles (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Power Automate.
• Demonstrable experience in portfolio-level governance, control processes, and data integrity.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in an evolving environment.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as P3O, MoR, or MoP.
• Specific experience within the insurance industry.
