HR Business Partner

TL;DR

HR Business Partner (Fintech): Acting as a strategic relationship manager for investment business groups to drive people and business results with an accent on organizational design, talent development, and change management. Location: Must be based in New York, NY (Hybrid: 4 days/week in office).

Salary: $130,000–$150,000/year.

What you will do

• Provide strategic human capital advice to business leaders and managers.
• Conduct root cause analysis on people-related issues and implement effective solutions.
• Partner with leadership to design and execute organizational restructuring and change management frameworks.
• Drive diversity and inclusion programs aligned with business strategies.
• Manage cyclical HR processes including talent management, performance reviews, and compensation cycles.
• Collaborate with Finance and Learning & Development partners to address talent gaps and support top performers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably in financial services or asset management.
• Bachelor’s degree required; PHR certification is preferred.
• Proven experience working in a highly collaborative global matrix organization.
• Strong technical HR knowledge across compensation, benefits, and organizational development.
• Proficiency with HR systems, specifically PeopleSoft and Microsoft Office.
• Deep understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices.
