System Requirements Engineer

Salary: $75,000 - $156,000

What you will do

• Define and analyze system and subsystem requirements to shape overall design.
• Apply MBSE and digital engineering methods to capture mission needs and CONOPS.
• Develop requirement trees, perform functional modeling, and conduct simulation-based performance trades.
• Coordinate and participate in formal and informal requirements assessments.
• Translate customer needs into technical capability requirements and solutions.
• Contribute high-quality content for technical reports and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or mathematics required.
• 3-5 years of experience in systems engineering with an emphasis on requirements engineering.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Practical experience with systems engineering processes and MBSE/digital engineering tools.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Cambridge, MA.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Proficiency with SysML, STPA, or DOORS.
• Knowledge of GN&C, avionics architectures, or cybersecurity.
