TL;DR

Senior Business Systems Analyst (Workday): Leading the implementation, support, and optimization of HR and Payroll business processes and systems with an accent on Workday configuration and cross-functional integration. Focus on translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, managing project lifecycles, and ensuring seamless system performance within the IT ecosystem.

Location: Must be based in Seattle, WA or Washington D.C.

Salary: $157,300 – $235,900

What you will do

  • Lead engagement with business partners to analyze requirements and communicate system implications of process changes.
  • Configure and maintain Workday modules including core HCM, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and Payroll.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and coordinate with development teams for delivery.
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, including estimation, testing, deployment, and change management.
  • Ensure flawless integration between HR/Payroll applications and the broader IT infrastructure.
  • Contribute to product knowledge bases and mentor team members to ensure maintainable and supportable solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • Must be able to legally work in the US without visa sponsorship.
  • Expertise in Workday configuration and implementation.
  • Deep understanding of HR and Payroll business processes.
  • Proven track record in requirements elicitation, solution design, and test planning.
  • Experience with Agile delivery and software development lifecycles.
