Consultant - Valuation

Location: Boston, MA; candidates must verify their legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Salary: $90,000–$160,000 per year.

What you will do

• Analyze historical and projected financial information for valuation engagements.
• Develop detailed financial models to value companies, investments, and complex securities.
• Direct junior staff in preparing financial models and client-ready valuation deliverables.
• Organize large datasets in Microsoft Excel and use Capital IQ and Bloomberg for financial and market data.
• Present valuation analyses and communicate project status and results to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in client meetings, business development activities, and practice development initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Three to five years of prior valuation experience, preferably with a national accounting or valuation firm.
• Experience leading the development and completion of client-ready valuation or similar client-service deliverables.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, report writing, communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to recruit, train, mentor, and manage junior staff while collaborating with industry specialists.
• Legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Black-Scholes option pricing models or Monte Carlo simulation.
• Significant progress toward an ASA or similar designation.
