TL;DR

Functional Consultant (Supply Chain): Delivering end-to-end enterprise planning solutions with an accent on data analytics, process design, and system configuration. Focus on translating complex business requirements into technical specifications and optimizing supply chain performance using AI-powered tools.

Location: Tokyo, Japan (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office)

What you will do

  • Participate in requirement and design sessions to document business processes.
  • Configure the o9 platform to solve complex supply chain and operational problems.
  • Perform data integration, ETL, and build complex datasets for analysis.
  • Use statistical techniques and optimization models to provide actionable business insights.
  • Create and execute test cases to ensure solution quality and automate testing protocols.
  • Train super users and end users on the platform and mentor junior analysts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in operations research, Industrial Engineering, or related analytical field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in enterprise application implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in handling large datasets.
  • Experience with statistical tools or programming languages (e.g., R, SAS, SQL).
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must be based in or able to work from Tokyo, Japan.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience with planning systems or ERP tools.
  • Experience leading full-lifecycle supply chain implementations.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology.
  • Experience with MDX, T-SQL, or similar database languages.
