TL;DR

Global Benefits Director: Leading the design, administration, and continuous improvement of global benefits and retirement programs with an accent on U.S. plan operations and global governance. Focus on managing vendor relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and partnering with regional HR teams to drive competitive and cost-effective total rewards strategies.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to North Andover, MA (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

Salary: $180,000–$220,000 yearly.

What you will do

  • Design and execute global benefits and retirement programs aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide hands-on oversight of U.S. benefits administration, including vendor management and issue resolution.
  • Maintain global governance frameworks to ensure consistency, equity, and risk management.
  • Partner with regional HR teams to support non-U.S. benefits programs and local execution.
  • Lead annual open enrollment planning, compliance filings, and benefits reporting.
  • Coach and develop a high-performing benefits team while serving as a subject matter expert for leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive benefits experience, including 5+ years managing a global team.
  • 5+ years of experience in total rewards, covering compensation and HR operations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with U.S. health and retirement programs (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA).
  • Ability to work onsite in North Andover, MA three days per week.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Workday.
