Presales Consultant (NEC Revenues)

What you will do

• Collaborate with sales and BID teams to prepare tender responses and tailored proposals.
• Conduct comprehensive software demonstrations highlighting key features of NEC Revenues and Benefits solutions.
• Maintain and test pre-sales databases to ensure new functionality is effectively showcased.
• Act as a subject matter expert for internal and external queries regarding system functionality.
• Build strong customer relationships to support sales growth and develop case studies.
• Participate in industry events and conferences to promote solutions and engage with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must have extensive knowledge of NEC Revenues (Council Tax and/or Non-Domestic Rates).
• Must have a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to problem-solve in demanding circumstances and manage multiple projects in parallel.
• Willingness to travel within the UK for client meetings and industry events.
• Flexibility to meet deadlines, including occasional work outside standard hours.

Nice to have

• IRRV Qualification.
• Experience with integration and interfaces related to NEC R&B products.
• Knowledge of competitor products in the revenue and benefits sector.
• Previous experience in presales or consultancy roles within the public sector.
