What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance monitoring programs and internal control systems.
• Identify and analyze compliance obligations impacting operations, seeking legal advice as necessary.
• Review and sign off on marketing materials for distribution compliance.
• Monitor regulatory reforms and industry developments, updating policies and training accordingly.
• Collaborate with local and global teams to implement the Enterprise Risk Management Program.
• Prepare compliance reports for the Management Team, Compliance Committee, and the Board.

Requirements

• Minimum 10-12 years of experience in a compliance or risk role within a global investment manager.
• Strong working knowledge of Singapore and Hong Kong regulatory regimes, specifically CMS and Licensed Corporation obligations.
• Proven experience with AML/CTF regulations, client due diligence, and ongoing monitoring.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, legal, accounting, or a related field.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage senior management and external stakeholders.
• Ability to balance commercial considerations with legal and reputational risk.

Nice to have

• Direct experience working with MAS and SFC regulators.
• Familiarity with Charles River or similar order entry systems.
