Product Manager, Home Networking (IoT)

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Support the definition and development of Mesh systems, routers, extenders, portable Wi-Fi products, accessories, and broadband access gateways.
• Manage products across the lifecycle from concept and planning through launch and final shipment.
• Write and maintain PRDs and specifications for hardware, firmware, mobile applications, and cloud features.
• Conduct competitive analysis, market research, trend evaluation, and customer feedback analysis.
• Collaborate with R&D, QA, PMO, manufacturing, industrial design, supply chain, vendors, sales, and marketing.
• Support launch readiness, feature validation, product quality, usability, security, performance, and customer experience improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of product management experience, preferably in consumer home networking, connected devices, smart home, or related technology.
• Experience writing PRDs and translating business requirements into actionable product specifications.
• Basic understanding of routers, extenders, mesh systems, wireless standards, and cloud-connected services.
• Experience with competitive analysis and market research, plus strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, take initiative, and drive execution across technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with consumer networking, IoT, or connected device products.
• Familiarity with firmware, mobile applications, or cloud-connected product ecosystems.
• Exposure to AI-enabled consumer technologies or Wi-Fi 7 and Wi-Fi 8.
• Experience with hardware and software collaboration, go-to-market concepts, customer behavior, or product positioning.
