Expected base pay: $197,400–$292,150 per year

What you will do

• Build and lead a San Diego design organization delivering customer silicon for advanced AI, XPU, and XPU-Attach programs.
• Manage complex subsystem, coprocessor, accelerator, and SoC engineers across design and verification, while coordinating with physical design engineering.
• Define design strategies, IP roadmaps, SoC plans, schedules, budgets, and progress metrics from product definition through productization.
• Develop methodologies and infrastructure for advanced semiconductor processes, I/O, networking bandwidth, embedded cores, and coprocessors.
• Partner with architecture, software, firmware, program management, marketing, and post-silicon teams to execute development plans.
• Mentor engineers and improve methodologies, techniques, and automation.

Requirements

• BS degree or higher in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• 12–15+ years of RTL and/or verification experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing a design team.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with marketing and engineering organizations.
• Experience across all design phases, from concept through productization.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and recruit and retain engineering talent.
