What you will do

• Take ownership of key components within the membership platform.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs.
• Integrate AI coding assistants into daily workflows to improve team productivity and tooling.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Participate in on-call rotations and improve system reliability through better runbooks and alerting.
• Contribute to technical design reviews and architectural decision-making.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience building production backend systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Go.
• Experience with cloud-based microservices (AWS and Kubernetes preferred).
• Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and a clear perspective on their application.
• Strong testing discipline and clear communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with subscription, billing, or healthcare-regulated domains (HIPAA, PCI).
• Familiarity with GraphQL or gRPC.
• Exposure to frontend stacks like React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Experience with observability tools like Datadog or Sentry.
