Salary: $107,000 – $229,000 (varies by location).

What you will do
- Take ownership of key components within the membership platform.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs.
- Integrate AI coding assistants into daily workflows to improve team productivity and tooling.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Participate in on-call rotations and improve system reliability through better runbooks and alerting.
- Contribute to technical design reviews and architectural decision-making.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional experience building production backend systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Go.
- Experience with cloud-based microservices (AWS and Kubernetes preferred).
- Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and a clear perspective on their application.
- Strong testing discipline and clear communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with subscription, billing, or healthcare-regulated domains (HIPAA, PCI).
- Familiarity with GraphQL or gRPC.
- Exposure to frontend stacks like React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
- Experience with observability tools like Datadog or Sentry.
