What you will do

• Lead end-to-end integration and test oversight for next-generation satellite programs.
• Own the AIT strategy, execution, and team performance across the full program lifecycle.
• Partner with systems engineering to review parts selection and ensure mission quality objectives.
• Drive verification and validation (V&V) efforts to ensure compliance with system requirements.
• Oversee supplier AIT plans, test procedures, and anomaly resolution processes.
• Support launch campaign activities, including final integration and troubleshooting at the launch site.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in spacecraft integration and test (I&T) or AIT environments.
• Proven track record leading AIT teams and executing end-to-end spacecraft campaigns.
• Experience with spacecraft or optical payload environmental testing (thermal vacuum, vibration, EMI/EMC).
• Willingness and ability to travel to supplier and launch sites as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with both spacecraft and optical payload integration.
• Familiarity with laser communications and intersatellite links.
• Proficiency in spacecraft test scripting or automation (e.g., Python, STOL).
• Strong knowledge of industry standards such as MIL-STD-1540, MIL-STD-461, and NASA GEVS.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
