What you will do

• Lead the vehicle test team from panel integration through final full spacecraft tests verifying launch-readiness.
• Own and improve test software, frameworks, and HITL testbeds for vehicle testing and flight software verification.
• Oversee end-to-end HITL testbed development, including design, procurement, integration, and validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testbed requirements, timelines, and budgets.
• Identify and drive opportunities to automate manual processes and improve test efficiency.
• Manage recruiting, interviewing, and hiring for the growing test team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, or equivalent background.
• 5+ years of experience in test engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• Strong proficiency with Python.
• Experience designing and implementing HITL systems and working in hardware production environments.
• U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required

Nice to have

• Experience with spacecraft or launch vehicle testing.
• Ability to read schematics and data sheets, and debug circuits interfacing with embedded software.
