Location: Must be based in San Francisco, CA (5 days a week in office)

Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 USD

What you will do

• Hire, mentor, and lead a world-class team of RF test engineers.
• Oversee the design and implementation of hardware test racks using COTS equipment and custom PCBAs.
• Drive the development of Python-based automation software for flight hardware and test equipment.
• Scale cross-functional business processes for RF test requirements capture and validation.
• Partner with RF Design, Mechanical Integration, and Environmental Test teams to improve design quality.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and work plans to meet production milestones.

Requirements

• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card) is required due to export regulations.
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in hardware product development or production.
• Proven track record of building, managing, and mentoring engineering teams.
• Strong Design-for-Test (DFT) and test automation mindset.
• Must be able to work 5 days a week in the San Francisco office.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with RF test equipment like VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
• Proficiency in Python or C++ for automation and data analysis.
• Familiarity with space environment testing (TVAC, Vibration, EMI/EMC).
• Experience managing mixed teams of engineers and technicians.
• Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and digital communication systems.
