Policy Review Specialist - Personal Lines

Location: Remote - US; role is specified as remote in NY

Pay: $21.63 hourly, plus eligibility for a monthly commission plan

What you will do

• Place outbound calls before policy renewals to provide re-quotes and support targeted book roll activities.
• Review customer coverage and recommend additions or changes to retain and grow the existing customer base.
• Maximize upgrade, cross-sell, and referral opportunities for additional insurance products.
• Calculate and present quotes accurately and complete insurance applications.
• Apply carrier underwriting guidelines and present eligible risks that fall outside standard guidelines.
• Track quote activity, prepare periodic reports, meet retention targets, and maintain positive carrier relationships.

Requirements

• Associate degree and 2+ years of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in insurance.
• Strong interpersonal, phone communication, and listening skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs through question-based selling and retention techniques.
• Self-directed approach with sound decision-making and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with PCs; knowledge of insurance administration software is preferred.
• Current New York State Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license required.
