Account Manager Trainee (Insurance)

Location: Overland Park, KS, USA; hybrid work environment available

Salary: $24.04–$31.25 per hour depending on experience, plus annual bonus potential.

What you will do

• Provide technical and administrative support to insurance producers and serve as a first point of contact for customers.
• Review in-force policies, forms, endorsements, billing information, and policy changes in Applied/EPIC.
• Manage higher-level policy changes and resolve billing issues with Accounting.
• Prepare renewal and remarketing materials, including policy updates, loss reports, applications, and submissions.
• Coordinate with insurance company underwriters to obtain timely and accurate quotes.
• Prepare renewal presentations and proposals, then bind or reissue policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 0–2 years of related insurance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete assignments on time.
• Excellent customer service, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• State Property and Casualty license required within the first 90 days of employment.
