Account Manager Trainee (Insurance)

Location: Overland Park, Kansas, USA; hybrid work environment available

Salary: $24.04–$31.25 per hour, depending on experience, plus annual bonus potential.

What you will do

• Provide technical and advanced administrative support to insurance producers.
• Serve as a first point of contact for customers, providing consultation and technical support.
• Review in-force policies and maintain accurate forms, endorsements, billing, policy changes, and client data in Applied/EPIC.
• Manage complex policy changes, including mission-critical location changes, and resolve billing issues with Accounting.
• Prepare renewals and remarketing submissions by updating policy information, gathering loss reports, and completing applications.
• Coordinate quotes with insurance underwriters and prepare renewal presentations, proposals, and binding or reissued policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and zero to two years of related insurance industry experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete assignments within required timeframes.
• Excellent customer service, written communication, and oral communication skills.
• State Property and Casualty license required within the first 90 days of employment.
