Location: Must be based in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Hartford, New York, or Scottsdale. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in the office.
Salary: $120,000–$155,000

What you will do
- Manage claims volume and team staffing, including assessing and allocating complex or severe claims.
- Implement and execute best practices for reserve-setting, coverage analysis, and claim-handling strategies.
- Drive KPIs and adherence to standards through regular managerial file audits.
- Review and approve coverage correspondence, including sensitive denials and complicated issues.
- Lead litigation management and strategy to achieve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coach, train, and motivate team members while acting as an escalation point for broker and customer concerns.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in handling claims.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial General Liability (Bodily Injury and 3rd Party Property Damage).
- Minimum 4 years of claims management experience.
- Expert knowledge of coverage analysis, litigation management, and negotiation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain insurance adjuster licenses.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Nice to have
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Construction Defect experience.
- New York Labor Law experience.
