What you will do

• Solicit and cultivate core and core-plus mortgage loan opportunities through national accounts and correspondent bankers.
• Perform detailed underwriting, credit analysis, and valuation of commercial real estate assets.
• Negotiate loan structures, terms, and commitments while coordinating with legal counsel for transaction closings.
• Present investment opportunities to the investment committee with comprehensive risk and market analysis.
• Conduct site inspections and research local real estate markets to identify new investment territories.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members to achieve established volume and yield goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (MBA preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of work experience in commercial real estate.
• Detailed knowledge of mortgage loan documentation, legal issues, and alternative investments.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to evaluate real estate markets and perform complex financial analysis.
• Must be based in or able to work from Atlanta, GA.
