What you will do

• Perform full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable ensuring high accuracy.
• Manage general ledger functions, including journal entry reviews and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for compliance.
• Execute and track premium accounting workflows, including Agency bill and Direct bill.
• Act as a bridge between accounting and operations to resolve transaction tracking and payment issues.
• Identify inefficiencies in manual workflows and support automation improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (preferred).
• 5-7 years of accounting experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, specifically VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, and managing large datasets.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience in Insurance (MGA, wholesale, or broker) is highly preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict financial deadlines.
