TL;DR
Field Services Engineer (Hardware/Visitor Counting Systems): Deliver on-site technical support, installation, maintenance, and repair for visitor counting hardware and peripherals with an accent on safe installations, IP/Wi‑Fi troubleshooting, and minimizing client downtime. Location: Remote (UK). The position is based in the UK.
Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per annum plus company car, phone, and laptop.

What you will do
- Install, configure, and test people counting sensors and related peripherals.
- Run site surveys to assess requirements for safe and efficient installations.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site or remotely to minimize downtime.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and system upgrades.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including service reports and timesheets.
- Coordinate with internal teams on project timelines and escalations; support weekend on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in the UK.
- Experience in field-based technical support or installation work, including working at heights.
- Strong knowledge of IP networks and Wi‑Fi technologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows environments and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and repair hardware issues.
- Clean, valid driving license (essential).
Nice to have
- Certifications such as IPAF, CSCS, or PASMA.
- Experience in the heritage sector and/or listed buildings.
