Field Service Engineer (Spectroscopy)

Location: US-DE-Wilmington; onsite in Little Falls, Delaware when not travelling. The role involves visiting customers 4–5 days per week and up to 75% overnight travel. A remote work option is available.

Salary: $43.12–$67.37 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Install, implement, maintain, repair, and support customer systems in the field.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, operating-system, and product performance issues.
• Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations that affect product performance.
• Deliver fully integrated solutions including peripherals, communications, operating systems, and applications software.
• Manage technical escalations and collaborate with Support, Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams.
• Provide technical training, maintenance workshops, and on-site equipment calibration when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in physical science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role, such as service technician, process engineer, or customer-facing field position.
• Must be able to obtain and hold security clearance to access customer sites.
• Must have a valid passport for access to government sites.
• Valid US driver’s license required.
• Spectroscopy experience is highly desirable.
