Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: US - Remote; field service duties require travel 85% of the time within North America, with occasional international travel.

Salary: $63,892.92–$85,190.56 annually, plus a bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Install, upgrade, test, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair wet processing equipment.
• Perform equipment activities during installation, warranty, repair, and testing while following customer and safety protocols.
• Isolate system malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
• Support new processes, methods, and equipment designs.
• Serve as the customer contact for onsite technical activities and equipment support.
• Prepare field service reports covering tool actions, events, and daily activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, with at least 2 years of experience; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, robotics, and computer controls.
• System integration, testing, and debugging skills.
• Experience with semiconductor industry safety requirements and cleanroom environments.
• Strong communication, customer relationship, decision-making, attention-to-detail, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs, perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing, use standard tools and office equipment, and wear PPE for several hours when required.
