Field Service Engineer - UK East England (Medical Devices)

Location: Remote within the UK, with regular travel across East England and the UK; typically 1–2 overnight stays per week. Ideally based near Colchester, Peterborough, or Luton.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hirify.global medical equipment at customer sites.
• Provide application support and train hospital personnel in the effective use of installed systems.
• Plan and deliver application and technical training for customers and internal employees.
• Investigate issues quickly and help minimize equipment downtime.
• Organize product demonstrations and build strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.

Requirements

• Degree in technical engineering or technical education, or at least four years of experience in field service, medical devices, or a similar role.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand equipment and train users.
• Excellent mastery of English.
• Customer-focused, professional, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Computer and basic networking skills, effective time management, and flexibility to travel with overnight stays.
• Full driving licence.
