TL;DR

Director of Information Technology: Leading the IT department and digital infrastructure strategy with an accent on Microsoft ecosystem management, security posture, and business automation. Focus on architecting scalable solutions, ensuring compliance with SOC2/SOX standards, and leveraging AI to enhance operational efficiency.

Location: Must be based in the United States. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week in the New York office.

Salary: $160,000–$175,000

What you will do

  • Direct the IT department roadmap and align technology investments with organizational growth.
  • Oversee enterprise security using Microsoft Entra and Defender, including threat protection and conditional access.
  • Manage global device footprint via Microsoft Intune and JAMF.
  • Lead the adoption of Power Platform to digitize manual workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain M365 governance and ensure optimal configuration of Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange.
  • Drive the integration of AI tools to strengthen IT team performance and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT leadership roles with a track record of mentoring technical staff.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with the Microsoft ecosystem (Entra, Intune, Defender, M365).
  • Deep proficiency in automation tools like Power Automate or n8n.
  • Experience with compliance standards such as SOC2 or SOX.
