Principal Consultant - Energy Supply Chain (Consulting): Lead consulting engagements for energy clients, accountable for solution quality from analytics to presentations with an accent on client relationship management across C-suite and supply chain stakeholders. Focus on building work plans and delivering insights from industry data while driving project execution, profitability updates, and growth through upselling consulting services.
Location: US-MA-Boston-Office (hybrid; expected in the office 2-3 days per week)
Salary: $160,000-180,000 (base pay only)

What you will do
- Serve as project lead and ensure the quality of delivered solutions for energy clients, from analytics through presentations.
- Manage client relationships by interfacing effectively across levels, from C-suite to supply chain, project management, engineering, and business development teams.
- Oversee more junior members of the Supply Chain Consulting team and drive successful project execution.
- Develop work plans with clear objectives, deliverables, and scope execution.
- Provide management updates on project progress, including revenue recognition and profitability metrics.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to sell additional consulting services and products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in consulting, supply chain, operations, or engineering; experience in Power & Renewables and/or Oil & Gas preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, project/time management, and managerial skills.
- Proven ability to write persuasive documents and strong technical writing skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills across a wide range of stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel 60-80% of the time; no visa sponsorship provided.
