Director, Visa Consulting & Analytics - Canada (Fintech)

Location: Toronto, Canada; hybrid schedule with at least 3 days in the office.

What you will do

• Manage strategic advisory relationships with key Canadian clients and hirify.global leadership.
• Build and manage a pipeline of advisory work while meeting sales and project delivery targets.
• Lead consulting engagements, manage project teams, and mentor team members.
• Develop frameworks, recommendations, solutions, toolkits, and best-practice approaches for client challenges.
• Partner with marketing, analytics, risk, innovation, data science, product, and global regional teams.
• Deliver analyses and strategic guidance on profitability, growth, digital payments, customer experience, risk, and payment P&L performance.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 8 years with an advanced degree, or 3 years with a PhD.
• Senior-level experience in corporate strategy, business strategy, or management consulting.
• Strong project management, leadership, collaboration, communication, presentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders, influence and negotiate with senior executives, and operate in a matrixed organization.
• Understanding of banking or payments P&L and the drivers of profitability.
• Ability to work with large datasets and synthesize insights into strategic client guidance.

Nice to have

• 12 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or advanced-degree equivalent experience.
• Experience working with Canadian banks and other financial institutions.
• Technology and digital fluency, with an understanding of consumer economics, behavior, trends, and applications.
