What you will do

• Analyze operational performance and trends for solar and battery storage sites.
• Investigate root causes of lost energy and lead coordination with operations teams.
• Perform capacity and performance ratio tests for operating assets.
• Produce detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports.
• Utilize advanced technology like drones and thermal imaging to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback for future system designs.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in engineering focused on system performance.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Proficiency with advanced analysis and database tools for metrics and dashboards.
• Ability to read and comprehend equipment and facility schematics.
• Willingness to travel within the U.S. (up to 15%).

Nice to have

• PE qualifications or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Experience with PV and Battery Energy Storage System design.
• Proficiency with PowerBI or machine learning tools.
• Experience with Data Acquisition and SCADA systems.
• Spanish language skills.
