TL;DR

Focus on managing complex accounts, coordinating internal service teams and benefits consultants, and conducting enrollment and face-to-face client meetings.

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid)

Salary: $100,000.00–$120,000.00 per year

What you will do

  • Manage and maintain an assigned book of business as the primary client contact for benefits-related service needs
  • Coordinate with internal service teams, Benefits Consultants, and/or Client Executives to ensure service deliverables meet client expectations
  • Lead and manage the full renewal process, including managing day-to-day client issues
  • Conduct needs analysis and strategy calls; run enrollment meetings as needed
  • Advise clients on cost reduction while offering competitive benefits options, including support for 5500 form filings as applicable
  • Grow the book of business through cross-sale opportunities and provide leadership within the extended service team

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in account management or a consultative role
  • Prior experience in a broker agency or benefits administration firm
  • Current Life and Health license
  • Thorough knowledge of health and ancillary products
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to handle 30% travel and work in a fast-paced environment
