What you will do

  • Develop and implement comprehensive, long-lead marketing strategies that align with artist brands and commercial objectives.
  • Serve as the primary strategist and point of contact for artists and their management teams.
  • Oversee complex project lifecycles, from single rollouts to global album releases.
  • Brief and manage data-driven paid advertising campaigns to optimize budget efficiency.
  • Partner with creative leads to develop distinct visual identities and content for digital platforms.
  • Monitor consumption data and industry trends to optimize campaign performance and drive fan engagement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of manager-level marketing experience within the music industry or a high-level creative environment.
  • Deep understanding of the ANZ music landscape and audience discovery habits.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume rosters and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience planning and reconciling significant project budgets.
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills for presenting strategic plans.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with artists and stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Background in music touring or publishing.
  • Proficiency with industry tools like Chartmetric, Soundcharts, or Asana.
  • Interest in the impact of emerging technologies, including AI, on music marketing.
