What you will do
- Develop and implement comprehensive, long-lead marketing strategies that align with artist brands and commercial objectives.
- Serve as the primary strategist and point of contact for artists and their management teams.
- Oversee complex project lifecycles, from single rollouts to global album releases.
- Brief and manage data-driven paid advertising campaigns to optimize budget efficiency.
- Partner with creative leads to develop distinct visual identities and content for digital platforms.
- Monitor consumption data and industry trends to optimize campaign performance and drive fan engagement.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of manager-level marketing experience within the music industry or a high-level creative environment.
- Deep understanding of the ANZ music landscape and audience discovery habits.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume rosters and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong financial acumen with experience planning and reconciling significant project budgets.
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills for presenting strategic plans.
- Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with artists and stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Background in music touring or publishing.
- Proficiency with industry tools like Chartmetric, Soundcharts, or Asana.
- Interest in the impact of emerging technologies, including AI, on music marketing.
