What you will do

• Define and evolve the commerce content and shopping experience strategy, reinforcing editorial authority and destination status.
• Own brand-level revenue and margin targets, adjusting commerce strategies to drive performance.
• Lead and develop a team of editors, writers, and production specialists, fostering an experimentation-driven culture.
• Set commerce marketing strategy across newsletter, social, CRM, and promotional channels to grow acquisition and retention.
• Drive business model innovation (direct, marketplace, hybrid, subscription, services) and operationalize enterprise initiatives.
• Conceptualize and grow partnerships with retail and brand partners, including creator program strategy at the brand level.

Requirements

• 8-10 years in e-commerce, DTC, or commerce media, with deep understanding of the design and interiors category.
• 3-5 years leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Proven track record building or scaling a direct shopping destination with success driving an e-commerce P&L.
• Ability to translate strategic vision into operational plans that deliver revenue and margin growth.
• Fluency in emerging commerce trends, including AI-powered and agentic shopping, and ability to convert trends into business strategy.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience structuring partner relationships and evaluating new deal structures.
