Location: Must be based in Japan

What you will do

  • Close business to meet or exceed quarterly and annual bookings objectives.
  • Acquire net new logos and uncover opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Lead presentations of the company and product line to potential customers.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data in SFDC and manage sales forecasts.
  • Build strong relationships to drive growth and ensure customer success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for webinars, trade shows, and industry events.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience selling enterprise technology in competitive markets.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English is required.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience with MEDDIC or equivalent sales methodology.
  • Understanding of SaaS, hyperscalers, or database technology.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Technical sales experience specifically in database technology.
  • Experience selling to developers.
  • Experience selling through partner ecosystems in the Southeast Asia region.
