What you will do
- Own and exceed revenue targets by winning net-new logos across internet services, gaming, e-commerce, SaaS, fintech, and media sectors.
- Build a greenfield territory from scratch through self-sourced outbound prospecting and creation of repeatable sales plays.
- Run consultative sales cycles with founders, CTOs, CPOs, and VPs of Engineering.
- Position Claude as the foundation for AI-powered products and competitive differentiation for customers.
- Orchestrate internal Product, Engineering, and Applied AI teams to win technical evaluations and accelerate time to production.
Requirements
- 8+ years of sales experience in Japan with a strong track record as a hunter winning net-new logos.
- Experience selling to digital native, internet, or high-growth technology companies.
- Proven ability to open greenfield territories and generate pipeline from zero.
- Strong commercial instincts for usage-based and consumption models.
- Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English.
- Must be based in Tokyo, Japan.
