What you will do

  • Create and execute smart territory plans to grow the territory and meet/exceed sales goals.
  • Identify customers and open doors by building partnerships with healthcare professionals (MDs, DOs, RNs, CDEs, RPhs, etc.).
  • Use advanced sales methodologies (Challenger Selling Model and Strategic Account Management) to accelerate revenue growth.
  • Provide product education and ongoing support to providers, patients, and clinical educators.
  • Represent Tandem at events, conventions, and community outreach while keeping accurate CRM tracking and timely reporting.
  • Ensure activities comply with company policies and regulations, including Privacy/HIPAA and safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Location: must be based in the Chicago Central area (Central Chicago or neighboring cities) and cover the city of Chicago.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) plus 3+ years of industry sales experience, preferably in diabetes/endocrinology/insulin infusion pumps/managed care.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% within the territory; valid driver’s license, insurance, and good driving record required.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship available.

Culture & Benefits

  • Base pay: $91,890 to $112,310 annually; target earning potential: $166,890 to $187,310 annually.
