Operational Excellence & Strategic Projects Intern (Consulting): Supporting the Global Operations Excellence team by driving continuous improvement and strategic initiatives with an accent on process mapping, gap analysis, and problem-solving methodologies. Focus on facilitating workshops, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing actionable solutions across cross-functional teams.

Location: Must be based in Montreal, Canada. Internship is hybrid.

What you will do

• Lead and support continuous improvement projects using methodologies like PDCA, 8D, A3, and Lean Six Sigma.
• Build process maps to identify inefficiencies and perform gap analyses.
• Organize and facilitate workshops focused on root cause analysis and problem-solving.
• Recommend and implement solutions, creating clear action plans for execution.
• Monitor and report on project progress to ensure initiative success.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across various company sites.

Requirements

• Must be a student pursuing a university degree.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and meet Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) requirements.
• Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Previous internship experience in operational excellence, industrial engineering, or project management.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.
• PMP certification.
