TL;DR

Project Management Consultant (Consulting): Leading and overseeing complex, high-visibility enterprise projects for clients in utilities, IT, or oil & gas with an accent on project planning, stakeholder engagement, and delivery execution. Focus on driving transformative initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring project success through structured methodology and continuous improvement.

Location: Must be local to Calgary and the surrounding area, working in a hybrid environment with a combination of remote and on-client site work.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with clients to define business objectives, project scope, and success criteria.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Monitor performance using KPIs and conduct post-implementation reviews.
  • Mentor team members and share industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Must be local to Calgary and the surrounding area.
  • 5-10+ years of experience as a Project Manager on complex, enterprise-wide projects.
  • Proven experience in Consulting, Utilities, IT, or Oil & Gas sectors.
  • PMP certification or equivalent.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or information technology.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Change Management and OCM best practices.
