What you will do

• Lead cross-functional global teams across engineering, finance, and sales to deliver technically complex software programs.
• Own end-to-end program execution, from planning and estimation through delivery, optimizing shared engineering resources.
• Build and maintain detailed project plans and schedules for large, multi-track initiatives, identifying critical paths.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and program risks to ensure high-impact projects remain on track.
• Translate customer requirements into executable plans and coordinate work distribution across internal teams and contractors.
• Provide data-driven status, budget, and technical reporting to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in Technical Project/Program Management for software products or Software Development (C, C++, Java) with customer-facing exposure.
• Strong understanding of UNIX-based operating systems and embedded software environments.
• Experience leading people and complex technical initiatives in AGILE environments.
• Solid knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and program governance.
• Location: Must be based in Ottawa, Ontario

Nice to have

• Experience delivering commercial software implementations in the Embedded or RTOS market.
• Hands-on exposure to QNX.
• Experience with quality and compliance standards such as ISO 26262, ISO 9001, IEC 62304, or SPICE.
