Project Manager

TL;DR

Project Manager (Insurance): Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives across business and technology with an accent on translating business ideas into executable project scopes and ensuring delivery through implementation and benefits realization. Focus on managing cross-functional teams, building structured plans and success criteria, and mitigating risks while coordinating vendors and ensuring compliance across the project lifecycle.

Location: Hybrid (CA - Toronto - 100 King), three days per week in-person presence

Salary: 68,000 - 108,000

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end project delivery from concept to full implementation and benefits realization.
• Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate efforts between business, IT, and external vendors.
• Facilitate structured, outcome-focused meetings with clear agendas and decision frameworks.
• Translate business needs into project scopes, objectives, deliverables, and measurable success criteria.
• Build project plans, estimates, timelines, and resource allocations; identify dependencies and critical paths.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, risk/issue mitigation, operational readiness, and compliance (security, regulatory, audit).

Requirements

• Insurance industry experience.
• Experience managing IT, infrastructure, or end-user computing (EUC) projects.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery, and service management frameworks (ITIL v3/v4).
• Ability to take strong ownership (not a coordination-only role) in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with clear analysis, impact, and recommended paths forward.

Nice to have

• Experience with project/delivery tools (MS Project or equivalent, Azure DevOps/Jira, ServiceNow, Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong PowerPoint skills for executive-ready presentations.
• Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, ITIL Foundation, Lean Six Sigma, or relevant Microsoft certifications.
