What you will do

• Conduct and evaluate RFI/RFP responses with satellite component vendors.
• Perform thermal and structural studies using unit and system models to optimize design and ConOps.
• Generate and manage Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and system requirements.
• Oversee system compliance with structural and thermal requirements.
• Review vendor-submitted design reviews, analysis packages, and test reports.
• Analyze spacecraft-level acoustic, vibration, and shock test data for launch compliance.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aerospace, physics, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of experience with space systems engineering and analysis.
• Proficiency in structural analysis using CAD and FEA tools.
• Experience building and tuning thermal models for high-stability space systems.
• Ability to review unit and spacecraft-level thermal and vibration test results.

Nice to have

• Direct experience on at least one Earth observation space program.
• Experience in hardware procurement and writing technical requirements.
• End-to-end aerospace program lifecycle experience.
• Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance at the TS/SCI level.
