TL;DR

hirify.global is an end-to-end Space Systems Provider that designs, builds, and operates LEO satellite constellations delivering mission-critical data.

What you will do

  • Drive architectural decisions and processes to scale spacecraft production and mission operations reliably.
  • Partner with Mission Systems Engineers to own and track V&V compliance and test coverage campaigns.
  • Analyze on-orbit telemetry and platform operations to maximize the utility and capacity of deployed assets.
  • Integrate on-orbit performance data back into the early-phase design of subsequent platform iterations.
  • Increase platform autonomy and resilience to maximize customer uptime while minimizing operator toil.
  • Act as a key technical stakeholder for internal tooling roadmaps, utilizing software skills to extend baseline code.

Requirements

  • M.S. or higher degree in an engineering field plus 8+ years of experience in multi-disciplinary environments.
  • Experience with deployed systems operating in high-reliability, performance-critical environments.
  • Extensive experience in AI&T workflows and V&V strategies, including tracking defect escape rates.
  • Deep understanding of spacecraft autonomy, fault management architectures, and FSW/GSW integration.
  • Strong software skills in Python or Julia to build upon existing codebases.
  • Must be a U.S. person (citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to comply with U.S. Government export regulations (ITAR/EAR).

Nice to have

  • Experience as a lead systems engineer or technical stakeholder in an agile environment.
  • Remote sensing instrument experience across multiple modalities (optical, multispectral, RF).
  • Hands-on experience developing or utilizing complex simulation environments.
  • Familiarity with software engineering tools and processes like version control and code review.
