Account Management Leader (Subsea): Leading strategic sales and business development initiatives for major subsea accounts across Asia Pacific and Japan with an accent on executive-level engagement and complex deal leadership. Focus on driving sustained growth, managing end-to-end sales fulfillment, and leveraging deep market insight to strengthen long-term customer partnerships.

What you will do
- Lead sales and business development strategy for major direct and consortium subsea accounts in the APAC and Japan region.
- Build and sustain trusted executive-level relationships to strengthen customer intimacy and competitive positioning.
- Define and execute account strategies to meet quarterly and annual bookings, revenue, and margin objectives.
- Drive opportunity creation, qualification, and pipeline expansion with a focus on execution and forecast accuracy.
- Partner with internal teams including product management, legal, and sales operations to deliver complex global programs.
- Manage end-to-end sales and fulfillment activities across global customer engagements.
Requirements
- Must be based in Malaysia or have the ability to work remotely from the region.
- 3+ years of experience managing major or global customer accounts with a proven sales track record.
- 5+ years of experience across sales, systems engineering, or product management disciplines.
- Strong technical knowledge of optical networking and subsea networks.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex sales strategies for large system sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to have
- Experience selling into Asia Pacific subsea markets, including consortium and large service provider customers.
- Understanding of submarine consortium structures, governance models, and decision-making processes.
- Knowledge of wet plant, submarine line terminal equipment (SLTE), and transponder architectures.
- MBA or advanced technical degree.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer and business needs.
