TL;DR

Account Director (Infrastructure): Driving new logo acquisition and business development across the Iberian market with an accent on carrier, cloud, and content infrastructure solutions. Focus on building a robust pipeline, managing complex sales cycles, and establishing strategic relationships with key technical and commercial decision-makers in Spain and Portugal.

Location: Must be based in Spain or Portugal, with regular travel across the region.

hirify.global provides mission-critical bandwidth and communications infrastructure, including dark fiber, private data networks, and wavelengths, to large enterprises and carriers across North America and Europe.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute a targeted new business strategy for the Iberian market.
  • Sell infrastructure solutions including wavelengths, IP transit, Ethernet, and dark fiber.
  • Identify and engage high-value accounts across the carrier, cloud, and content ecosystems.
  • Build and maintain relationships with CTOs, network engineers, and procurement leads.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to contract signature.
  • Maintain a visible market presence through regional events and networking in Madrid, Barcelona, and Lisbon.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Spain or Portugal and willing to travel regularly.
  • Proven track record in new business sales within the carrier, cloud, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong existing network across the Iberian telco and internet infrastructure landscape.
  • Technical proficiency in optical transport, IP transit, and Ethernet services.
  • Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese, with business-level English.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to build territory from scratch.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Private Wavelength Networks (PWN).
  • Deep familiarity with hyperscalers, CDNs, and neoscale operators.
